Incoming Transfers
As a prospective tranfer students interested in the majors within the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources you are eligible to compete for three levels of scholarships:
- University-wide scholarships
- College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) Scholarships
- Departmental Scholarships (i.e. Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, etc.)
How and when to apply:
To compete for all available scholarships from the university and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and its respective departments, new transfer students should complete two applications:
- The "Undergraduate Application for Admissions/Scholarship" located in the "Applying to OSU" packet. To obtain a packet, contact the OSU Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 1-800-233-5019 ext 3 (in-state) or 1-800-852-1255 (out-of-state). This application has a priority deadline of February 1. However, you are welcome to complete the application after the February 1 priority deadline, as designated scholarship funds may remain available after that date.
- The CASNR on-line scholarship application is available on this website on November 15 preceding the year you plan to attend (see link below) and is due February 1 of the year you plan to attend.
- ATTENTION HORT/LA Majors: to qualify for Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Departmental scholarships you must also complete a one (1) page form located on the HORT/LA website http://www.hortla.okstate.edu/hortla/scholarship.htm Your signature is required!

How will I be notified about an award?
Each unit is responsible for contacting students about their awards. Usually, most awards are made by middle to late March of the year you plan to attend. Most often, you are only contacted if you are awarded a scholarship.
