CASNR Account Registration

Why create a CASNR Career Account?

Students who establish a Career Account with CASNR Career Services get two benefits that are not available to students who have not completed career registration.

  1. Registered students may request contact information to network with alumni and other professionals participating in CASNR's Career Connections program. CASNR Career Connections is a web-based database comprised of CASNR alumni, other industry professionals and past student interns who have volunteered to assist CASNR students with exploring the diverse career options in fields related to agriculture and natural resources. Through Career Connections, students can read profiles of past interns, alumni, and industry professionals and, if registered with CASNR Career Services, may request contact information to "connect" with the alumni and industry professionals highlighted in the database. Students, who are not registered and/or who do not have CASNR Career Accounts, may view the Career Connections profiles, but may not request contact information fro networking purposes.
  2. Registered students may have their résumés accessible to employers seeking qualified candidates through publishing it to CASNR's résumé database. Employers, including those in industries that do not typically participate in on-campus recruiting, sometimes make requests for résumés of students and/or alumni who may meet their hiring needs. Upon receiving these requests, CASNR Career Services refers résumés of students who meet the employer's defined qualifications. Students, who are not registered and/or who do not have CASNR Career Accounts, cannot benefit from having their résumés available for referral to employers by CASNR.

Career Registration Steps for Current Students

How Long Does My Career Registration Last?

Both current student and alumni career registration information is purged on July 15th of each year. Therefore, students and alumni must re-register each academic year, if wishing to maintain an active status for résumé posting service and/or on-campus interviews. Students who have previously completed registration on Career Tracker do not have to attend a Career Orientation Session when re-registering. These students must only login to Career Tracker, complete their registration profile, and upload a new version of their résumé.
