Directions

Tulsa is about 70 miles from Stillwater; Oklahoma City is about 65 miles. All major commercial airlines have flights available into Tulsa or Oklahoma City. Car rentals are available at both airports.

From Tulsa

Using Turnpike

  • Take Highway 64 to Cimarron turnpike - toll gate (manned - $.75)
  • Take Oklahoma State University turnoff (approximately 20 miles) - toll gate (unmanned - $.50)
  • Continue on same road, which curves just before entering Stillwater and becomes Washington Street.
  • Immediately before the 4th traffic light, the road splits. Go right at the "Y". (Do not go through the intersection.) This road is still Washington Street.
  • Pass through the next traffic light (McElroy Street).
  • The Wes Watkins Center is located on the left side at the end of the block. Turn left into the limited access parking lot behind the Watkins Center (before traffic light at Washington Street and Hall of Fame Avenue). The control gate opens automatically. You may obtain a key code from the Wes Watkins Center Office if you need to move your vehicle prior to the end of the career fair.

Using Highway 51

  • Travel through Stillwater to Duck Street. Turn right onto Duck.
  • Go north to Hall of Fame Avenue (3rd traffic light). Turn left onto Hall of Fame.
  • Immediately past the football stadium is Hester Street (2nd traffic light). At Hester Street turn right into the limited access parking lot. You may obtain a key code from the Wes Watkins Center Office if you need to move your vehicle prior to the end of the career fair.

From Oklahoma City

Using I-35 North

  • Take the Stillwater exit. You are approximately 17 miles west of Stillwater at this point.
  • As you enter Stillwater, turn left at the 3rd traffic light (Western Avenue).
  • As you round the curve, this street becomes Hall of Fame Avenue.
  • Turn left at the 4th traffic light onto Washington Street. The Wes Watkins Center is on the corner.
  • Turn right into the controlled access parking lot behind the building. The control gate opens automatically. You may obtain a key code from the Wes Watkins Center Office if you need to move your vehicle prior to the end of the career fair.
